i just wanted to add that the strawberry ones came out better.

Sad News

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment
community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection
and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities
turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry
Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and
Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a
man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in
show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not
considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked
schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old
man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough
and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by
his elderly father, Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

next on this whole wheat bakers agenda

Whole Wheat Berry Cake
Healthy Recipes - Healthy Eating - Mixed Berry Whole-Grain Coffee Cake

tips when baking with whole wheat, in case anyone cares.

-whole wheat flour is extra sensitive to over temperature. it cooks faster. you need to be really careful when baking with it.

-olive oil is hard to bake with...so it takes time to get the proper feel for it.

im going to make whole wheat pancakes, muffins and carrot cake..everything..iA

I usually use half whole wheat and half white flour when baking things like banana bread or carrot cake. However, I've never baked using only whole wheat flour. So, can you post more tips as you bake each of these items and more?

yes....no problem. as long as i dont have to send you a reimbursement check for all the ingredients you end up wasting

jk it's not so bad..i'm just really new at it and i feel like i have no idea what's going on half the time. a lot of instinct involvement. def oven temperature is huge.

but iA ill get it..the cookies i made werent bad last week at all. except one batch i cooked too long so it became hard later..the other one i didnt cook so much so it was fine.
