Default NYU in Abu Dhabi

It just kills the whole experience of traveling and experiencing a different culture, no?

===

Abu Dhabi - US college for capital

Abu Dhabi - The prestigious New York University (NYU) is set to open a campus in the capital. It is hoped the degree-granting campus, which will eventually be able to accommodate 2,000 students, will attract Arab and Muslim students from across the world.

This is not the first time the university has looked outside the US.

NYU’s law school already has a campus in Singapore and its Tisch school for the Arts is opening a campus this autumn.

Yes, but its a great opportunity for those individuals to attend the school who otherwise would never get a chance to due to lack of funds, family obligations, rejected visa, etc etc.

Yeah, you're right. It's probably convenient for the women who can't travel without a mahram as well.

I don't think it's going to go through, though. They'll demand that Abu Dhabi accepts Israeli students, which AD will surely refuse. So they'll put this on hold like the other one.

They're pretty good and it's not very expensive. :: American University in Dubai :: I've finally decided to postpone my "studies". I want to go for religious studies instead. I was thinking al-azhar because it's one of the bests and oldest, but any other recommendations will do. Plus they don't have a website so I don't know how to apply.

They do, iSHi. It just doesn't come up when you google it up in English.

This is their website: الصفحه الرئيسية لجامعه الأزهر

Best of luck

PS - American University in Dubai is pretty expensive; you might as well just go to the main university in Washington DC. I also know for a fact that the American University of Sharjah (not a branch of the American University) has a better reputation in terms of academic excellence. They're both very expensive.
