I do know quite a few people who have gone into teaching. so no there isnt really a shortage of muslims in that field.
medicine, eng, business and law are good money making fields.
and money = power
that coupled with a sound iman(something we as muslism are generally lacking thesdays) can only be a good thing for the ummah.

yeh but i think im going to end up going to a shoddy uni because the one thats realtively good for my predicted grades is up in Leeds (which is 4 hours away from home, which in my state is not good)

I feel like Muslims in the business field is farely new. At least that's why I decided to go into that field to try something different. But when it comes to medicine and engineering well theres a history of that.
