Post Classes?

A reincarnation of a previous thread. Hmm, so what kind of classes are you taking?

I currently have 5 on my plate:

Arabic - 1st term, should be beneficial insh'Allah.
Math - elements of calculus & statistics, looking forward to it. Missed having a math class .
Psychology - sleep & dreams
Psychology - drug & alcohol abuse; cause & treatment
Psychology - prevention of psychological disorders

Arabic is lovely! and definitely beneficial, hope you d keep it going.

currently, there still is some more time for the school to get started (yay), so I shall type some courses of the previous semester. hmm, lemme see..

Intermediate Arabic (3rd of 5)
The Politics of Social Welfare in Europe
English-Turkish Translation

these were the most enjoyable ones out of the 10 in total. the rest are major stuff, about teaching, psychology etc.

eagerly waiting for the next term, wanna take courses from different departments, its fun!

Nor have I, that's why I registered for the course. From the first two class lectures I could say that it is what the title implies. The causes of psychological disorders are explored and then prevention/intervention methods are discussed.

wow, your classes sound so interesting. Mine used to sound like this:

Introduction to literary studies: Approaches to Literary Theory & Concepts in Criticism
Victorian & Modern Literature
English Literature 1740-1832
Shakespeare
Old & Middle English

19th Century French Literature
Modern French Literature
French Special Authors (from Rabelais to Sartre)
French Language & Grammar
Translation
History of the French Language

Then for my grad school I basically made up my own syllabus:

Portfolio:
The 'Contes' of Voltaire
The plays of Voltaire
History of the Book
Censorship & Tolerance in the Eighteenth Century

Dissertation:
Voltaire & Religious Tolerance

I hope they're interesting! They always sound interesting, don't they? But sometimes they end up being... not. But I hear they actually do start to get interesting in your senior years.

And the classes you had sound exciting, yaar. I always meant to take French in uni, but never found the time for it. Funny how I found time for things like Economics and Enviro Sci though.

I'm getting sick of English too now. I know for sure I wouldn't want a Master's in it. Maybe in Religion or Women's Studies. Not English Literature.

So you know a lot about Voltaire, eh?
