For me education in the dunya does not = having a degree. It's being proficient in the field that I chose to make money in.
I'll probably never marry a desi cause I don't have a degree (and I'm not about to get a degree just to get married to one). Their loss donchaknow
I'm already pretty proficient in the world of skilled tradesmen. I used to work in construction in high-school which included a bit of plumbing and electrician work, but it's really not for me. I do however love the manual labor required and am pretty good at it.
To put it in a nutshell I'm more into planning the work instead of working the plan

You can, if you've been out of school for a while.

alhumdulillah.
There's no point in having high earning capacity when you're debt is the size of a mortgage.

But thats pointless because I have a lot of ambition and I don't want to wait until I'm 40 to get things done.

You can still have debt and get things done if you're ambitious enough.

Most schools have a mature applicant category, where they'll consider you if you've had a lot of work experience but not so much academic experience (it's best to have some university education though). More true for law school than medicine or engineering.

Re: A degree-less future
That's entirely besides the point. You STILL have to get a degree in that field (medicine, law etc), in order to enter those professions.

Re: A degree-less future
Oh.
I thought we were talking about undergraduate degrees and how useless they are 'cause they're not vocational degrees. That's why I got confused about engineering, 'cause that is an undergraduate degree.
