I'm sure they take into account the number of siblings? I'm sure i saw that on the form last year...

Re: UCAS / Applying to Uni Horror Stories
heh poor kids i remember the hassle. i got all my places, but got rejected from warwick im too good for them anyway
good luck
and i think they take into account whether your siblings have been to uni before you or not. if they havent then u can get into uni through some scheme i cant remember - they lower the grades for you.

I think that they also take into account your immediate family who have gone into university education, so if you've had an uncle or an aunt who have got a degree, chances are they won't lower the grade.

yeah they do - but only if you're being means tested methinks. Most of my friends' parents earn loads, like way above the threshold, but they have like 3 - 5 siblings either studying or going to uni in a few years time, so they won't get any money because the parents are expected to 'help out'.
It's all a bit rubbish to be honest.
What are y'all studying? I'm excited about going to uni

Where are you doing law? [You mentioned Leicester?]
I'm at KE Camp Hill Girls. Well, I'm not anymore, cos we've officially left school . I stayed on at the Sixth Form.
