okay, so i didn't spell my name wrong.
i put the wrong phone number
and i listed my job title without the place i currently work for
i called them and they're like 'oh we tried calling you but kept reaching the wrong number'

my interview is thursday

and while i was at work today, i gave a lady the wrong directions to our office

I absolutely detest interviews. When they ask what you do with your spare time and crap like that? It's like "Man, I don't want to tell you what I really do, nobody wants to hire some boring dude."

Or those open-ended questions, they insist there's no right or wrong answer but you know they're just sitting there behind their desk with their smug little smile judging the crap out of you.

The worst thing I did at an interview (Not really that bad, but still the worst) was when I was 16 or so, I went into my interview at Best Buy dressed not too formal. The manager guy told me to come back in a suit and tie, and I said "Dude. It's Best Buy. I'll wear a suit and tie when I'm applying at an office."

I didn't get the job.

ummm keep eye contact, firm handshakes, make weaknesses into strengths, don't use the word "honestly", and most importantly make dua!

Spin it like its hot.

Summon up the best poker face you can give and tell them you like setting new goals for yourself to reach, new challenges to overcome. Tell them you wanted to see if you could still land the interview [not the job, because the interview will determine that] even though you had been creative with your resume. Then, at interview time tell them you enjoyed the little exercise for yourself and now, here you are.

I don't know what the position is, but in any interview if you don't ask them more questions about the company, about the job, about their management style, about the team you'll be working wit ... - i.e. show some interest in the total picture and dont be just another face in the room - ..... if you don't do any of that, one of the other candidates will and you won't get the job.

Research the company well in advance.
If they had any major public screw-ups that might impact your work in any way, take note and ask about it on the interview out of concern of what challenges might be coming your way.
Ask about their management - is it hands on or hands off? That makes a big difference in how you'll be expected to perform.
Ask about the team and others you'll be working with. Depending on the company and the job, you might want to start off by saying "I'm sure you have a great team here ..." ... and then move into finding out more about what they're looking for in an ideal candidate ... ".... but what are you looking for, in an ideal candidate to bring to the table? What new strengths could he or she bring that would augment or reinforce the team?"

There's loads more questions but it depends on the job type.

Just in general I would say get your resume critiqued at school by the career center.

Some tips for your interview:
1. Research the company beforehand. If it's a large one they will definately test your knowledge of the company.
2. Be optimistic. During my first interview I was asked how I would deal with dilemas and I was told later words my optimism was liked a lot by the interviewers. I said something along the lines of that I like challenges.
3. Firm handshakes although I would check if your palms are sweaty.
4. Make good eye contact
5. Along with researching the company you may want to see the culture of it some prefer formal attire some semi-formal. Overall though with women theres more leverage with clothes than men.
6. Get there early. Punctuality is very important on creating a good impression.
