why I was planning on using that one at my sister's wedding...she's a math teacher
I'm visiting home and I tried it on my parents and they had no clue what I was talking about...they kept saying "what about the third person"...even after explaining it to them, they insisted it didn't make sense
surely atleast the youngsters will laugh at the wedding? god I hope so or else that would be horrible...infact, I better not attempt any jokes...better play it safe and do whats tried and true...maybe at the MOST a quick joke or here to get in good with the aunties, but no more than that...anyways, i'll get off this tangent now

Thats why you plan ahead!
You should get a cousin or someone to sit in the very middle of the hall when you're doing your speech, and tell him if there's an awkward silence and no one laughs at your joke, to burst out laughing and yell: "OMG, HAHAHAHHAH! I GET IT, HE FALLS IN THE 'BAD AT MATH CATEGORY' HAHAHAHA 3 PEOPLE! OMG HAHAHHA"
And desis like to conform, so yeah, you're secured.

Re: Math <3
A mom and dad were worried about their son not wanting to learn math at the school he was in, so they decided to send him to a Catholic school. After the first day of school, their son comes racing into the house, goes straight into his room and slams the door shut. Mom and dad are a little worried about this and go to his room to see if he is okay. They find him sitting at his desk doing his homework. The boy keeps doing that for the rest of the year. At the end of the year the son brings home his report card and gives it to his mom and dad. Looking at it they see under math an A+.
Mom and dad are very happy and ask the son, "What changed your mind about learning math?"
The son looked at mom and dad and said, "Well, on the first day when I walked into the classroom, I saw a guy nailed to the plus sign at the back of the room behind the teacher's desk and I knew they meant business."

Sorry dude, it's not funny. It's not hard to get, but I don't think that will go over well with your particular audience. You'll think of something!
