Salams y'all..

Initially my goal was to write it this november with no prep or anything..then i figured, it would foolish of me to waste so much $$$(its like $300+ here?)

I dont "think" i know much abt DAT...all i know..
-->covers basic chem n bio? (true or not?) ive heard even if you're non-science student you can easily suck up that part..
'coz its almost equivilent to highschool bio n chem?

--->its FOUR hours long. just thinking about it exhausts all my brain cells..

---->here; we get to write twice a year nov n feb..
since i missed the nov..i plan on writting in feb inshaAllah...
the only time I have to prep for it is in WINTER BREAK aka 10 days..is it fesabile?

--->oh and i need to buy a fat DAT prep book too?

---> i remember back in HS, i did a "careers" test which had a "visual spatial" component to it..
then I sucked at that part..how do I overcome this hurdle?

--->carving part is hard? how to achieve the ultimum results?

not unless you took organic chem I and II..

I think it'd be stupid to take it in 10 days.

the carving part's only in canada so I don't know anything about it.

i havent taken organic chem yet..inshaAllah this summer? so i need morrrrrrrrre than just some avg joe's kn science power?

get the kaplan book...all I did to study was read through that book twice...and did very well on my DAT's alhamdulillah...this was about 5 years ago though

for us..its DAT (25%) n interview (25%) then the actual GPA... as far as i know no portfolio thingy..but DAT is me now..

I don't like guided studying so I prepped alone. I had the kaplan book and the cd I posted (which is really good for the 3d whatever part). I'd taken organic chem the summer I took the exam so I didn't study any.

you need more than average joe's knowledge.

So, either I study my bottom off for organic chem section or don't take it at all until next year..I went to the admins' office and they told me novembers' DAT scores are taken into consideration for the year students's apply.

since feb resulst arrive too late, they arenot much of a use, but students take it to give them a heads up as what to expect when they would want their DAT score to be counted towards their enterance..so i was thinking of doing the same.

i dont know if im making any sense.. all i care is to just to (eat some choclates) oh...ya Rub!

today, I was told that only american exams have organic chem in it. we don't O God, please let it be true. inshaAllah i hate getting my hopes up and then...

This is what Kaplan says about the Canadian DAT's:
Canadian DAT (no orgo)

btw, as someone who works for Kaplan, I would suggest spending a lot more than 10 days studying for the DATs.
