Does running marathons make people interesting
I know somebody who recently took part in the London marathon.
Since then he's been waving his medal at various members of the opposite sex. Two girls have been interested but the relationships have ended within weeks.
I suspect that outer activity doesn't disguise the lack of inner quality.
For a few weeks he was talking about nothing but the marathon and how many 'miles' he'd done that day..he became a 'running' joke...
Is it worth going to all that effort just to try to make yourself seem more interesting?
I suspect that you're not suddenly going to find 'beautiful' members of the opposite sex falling at your feet because you can run a bit...running doesn't replace looks or a personality.

Re: Does running marathons make people interesting
If one's intention before running a marathon is to "seem more interesting" then I think that that person should re-evaluate why they're about push their body to the limit. Running a marathon is no simple task.

marathons dont make people interesting nor will it spice up their ristha profile. They should just consider plastic surgery.

it is interesting to certain people like myself, but yeah like you said that doesn't really help with ones personality.

Re: Does running marathons make people interesting
Why did you make this post anyways? Are you jealous of his marathon running capabilities?

I could have but I didn't see those other posts when I was responding to one. Before islamica would combine the posts it was from one user, now they dont. :/

Its just a pity plastic surgery can't create a personality It'd be like a Philip K. **** novel..Total Recall...
I'm not sure any bloke after seeing 'running in the marathon' in some girls profile would go 'Schwing!'
