Pakistani TV channels?
have you noticed recently that so many pakistani TV channels have become so Indianized? i mean look at GEO TV, so much of the stuff they show is all indian crap.

whacha talkin bout boy? geo is WAAAAYYY better than sitar pulus india. the indian dramas are sooooooo gay. atleast the pakistani dramas are a lil better.

ARY/GEO is based out of Dubai. It's owned by a Pakistani (Memon!) and has a strong Muslim/Pakistani tilt, but I don't think it's technically "Pakistani." |

There are two or three dramas that even show inter marriages between muslims and hindus, they show as if it is a normal thing now. stupid people.

geo and ary are two different channels owned by different people. ary is owned by a memon dude who used to own a jewelry store in dubai. donno about geo.

really? i thought they were affiliated. go figure. i never watch either of them, the only reason i know anything about ARY is coz the chairman is involved with the world memon organization |

I remember we used to have PTV last year and I would imitate the paki dramas.  made my parents laugh a bit. I remember they make the biggest deal out of something small. i.e. jewelry missing from the bedroom "Haii Allah meray zayvar kidhar gaye...agar saas ko patha chalgaya...kaun hosakta hai jo chori karega??" trying to create suspense then you find out it was there the whole time  |

yeah i think so too. but to be honestly honest, the indian dramas are pretty stupid. we are getting free preview of star plus india whatever, and there is this drama where the "bahoo" is lying on the parents face and it is so obvious but they are too stupid to realize that.
the only reason i wanted geo in our house was cuz of "hum sub umeed se hain" and "vanee" and now vanee is over and hsush is getting lame...so i think we will probably get rid of it.
