If there's anything funnier than seeing a monkey ridding a unicycle, it's Muslims/Desis in North America thinking there actually Americans by the way they dress, speak and act. Don't give a jack about your homeland? Your probably the only "quam" in America who doesn't. 6th/7th generation Italians keep ties to Italy, the Irish do and so do the Scots, Portoguese hell even the Chinese. And you poor desis...thinking "were American yaal"....

Actually, I'm Canadian. As are most of my siblings. One of my sisters is American.

The few times I've been separated at the airport when traveling alone, its actually gotten me through the lines much, much quicker. Other people look at me like I'm a VIP or something. I get front row seats in the lounge. The allow me onto the plane before others. Special treatment? Definitely. Loving it? Check.

As for my phone lines and finances being screened - I never gave a damn about that and neither does my family. Nor do other Muslims here really care, except when it infringes on civil liberties. Such treatment doesn't impede our daily life.

The point is these pakistani channels are not pakistani. We should focus on real pakistani cultures from Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan. NWFP and Kashmir. These guys focus on indian culture and call it pakistani

its very interesting how "tere pehlo main" adds all the religious things to the show. like during ramadan, they changed the title song. and i think they even did a little thing for shab-e-barat.
