i haven't read any of the previous posts much really, but i'm not surprised this thread is so long lol...
the fact that women have to go to these lengths to maintain a standard that society has set points towards underlying problems in regards to the general mentality of people...people have the option of choosing from one thing or another and if they want to do something, they will pay for the consequences that arise from their actions...
hence, why does it matter if this is accessible to women? we can get into lengthy speeches about religion, society, morals, etc etc about how good or bad this is...but in the end, people should just try to do good for those around them and try to at least assure that they have tried to instill positive values in a young impressionable person in the hopes that they do not succumb to immoral behavior. whatever happens afterwards...will happen.
perhaps this is too simplistic, but this problem has been around for as long as humanity has been around more or less so we should ultimately accept the fact that humanity is inherently flawed, yet through positive influences we have the choice to do good. that's it. that's one way at least. live and let live. whatever.

Ok, a two line sentence from you DOES make more sense than having multiple nested quotes taken out of context.
If I am not mistaken, I think God certainly does look down upon fornicators. Hence we should to. Of course He can forgive the repenter. But remember, He can. Not He will. And if you have been saving yourself for a partner, you certainly should be wanting the same from your partner.
Now if I am living in the stone age because of that view, so be it. If you're an enlightened 21st Century kid, more power to you |

Especially when the same could be considered for men as well, who, no offense guys, tend to be the ones who get the most out of the whole "sowing wild oats" cliche. this double standard is tiring. but that's another topic altogether.

NO **** sherlocke. That doesnt mean ALL women who arent virgins are fornicators, and ALL women who are virgins are pure. For the record, I highly doubt a women who fornicates on a regular basis would be interested in marrying a 35 year old virgin engineer, but to each his own.

Ummmmmmm no. Allah says to HELP your muslim brothers and sisters. Looking down upon fornicators is not the solution. It ostracizes them from the community, and romanticizes the concept of fornication in the eyes of the youth.
