Well, no one ever calls out third-world tribes or nations on their cultural practices. It's politically incorrect. Unless you're dealing with a first-world country which is in fact practicing its own culture that its people are taught.
Think we can weed apologies from the Aztecs now for their human sacrifices?

Maybe you could if there were any left, but the Spaniards killed most of them, and forced the few who were left to convert to Christianity.

Sorry, I don't give away free passes anymore. The Aztecs were a patriarchal tribe and they invaded other tribes just to capture their warriors for human sacrifices.
What I'm trying to say is that I think it was stupid and tedious for those cannibals to apologize. They didn't personally wrong anyone.
