Hyderabad, August 15: The University of Hyderabad has developed an ‘Aasan Urdu’ CD for teaching the language to adult non literates.

The multimedia software package is developed by Afeefa Banu of the Department of English along with S. Durga Bhavani of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences under the UPE Interface Project.

Aasan Urdu, which facilitates reading Urdu script has a simple design.
