they sell pork in other muslim countries too and even worse alcohol in many of them. its nothing new,

Being realistic, this has been going on for a very long time...Just because someone professes to be a Muslim doesn't mean they act it. These countries are in for the profit, and we all know that power corrupts...so I guess they really don't care so long as they cater to those people who will use these "services and goods" that they provide, halal or not.
oh well..I thought Morocco was more conservative than that, then again they have that whole Moroccan hash fantasy to live up to. I know most people I know who've gone there have tried that...just to try it. I guess it's the same as how Afghanistan is known for opium...the world sucks, what can you do. wa salam
