Actually, a Bihari/UP-ite wouldn't be caught dead saying 'aap aao.' That's straight up Punjab Urdu (which sounds a little odd when its coupled with the formal 'hum').

I think a better way to transliterate it would have been 'moannas'...it took me a while to figure out what it was supposed to be too.

He was actually dead on right. The term he used was 'monnas/moannas' which means feminine. Not 'manhoos', or 'manoos'.

'app aoo' is a way to slightly degrade the addressed, I think that's what he was trying to do, darned memons

See what Spice said.. it lends it an air of condescension/'talking down'

Yes.. moannas=feminine, manhoos=cursed. Two different words

I don't think Shivers is married... just engaged.
Cute song though, Hard2Hit.

I'm liking Noor Jehan.

mujh se pehli si mohabbat meray mehboob na maang
mein ne samjha tha kay tu hai to darakhshaan hai hayaat
tera gham hai to gham-e-dahar ka jhagdra kya hai
teri surat se hai aalam mein bahaaron ko sabaat
teri aankhon ke sivaa duniya mein rakha kya hai
tu jo mil jaaye to taqdir niguun ho jaaye
yun na tha, mein ne faqat chahaa tha yun ho jaaye
...
aur bhi dukh hain zamaane mein mohabbat ke sivaa
raahaten aur bhi vasl ki raahat ke sivaa
