I dón't know, I guess it depends on what type of feminist you are. [I.E- A radical, Islamic, Liberal or Marxist] But I think you can be a feminist and not hate Men, aren't there Men who call themselves feminist too?

that's such a gross overgeneralization, that this thread must be a joke. Not even all lesbians hate men, just the ones that GOT5 tries to date.

A woman (or man) who stands up for the rights of women, is what I understood to be a feminist. Nothing wrong with that.

Women who like to put men down for being men, who like to emasculate men, who pounce on everything a man says, and generally treat men with disdain, like to call themselves feminists. When really they might be better described as bitter individuals who've had some bad experiences in the past and as a result decided to go through the rest of their lives with a huge chip on their shoulder.

In this regard, these women have hijacked the real feminist cause, in order to make themselves feel better.

I guess you haven't met many lesbians. One of our friends had a lesbian neigbor. She used to hang out with him all the time, especially when they were out smoking. Then one day she had a really odd request of him, and they stopped spending as much time together... ANYWAY, I lived on the West Coast, and I can tell you that there are plenty of lesbians who hang out with straight men, and gay men alike.

A woman or man who seeks to exceed the rights given to a woman or man in Islam, especially at the expense of rights given to the opposite gender, is my standard definition of 'sexist.'

Henry James explores this further in his novel. The Portrait of a Lady. Or you may not be interested in reading fictional works. He basically writes about how people can have a just cause, but they're not often just themselves.
