Was Muslim Day at Wonderland on Saturday or Sunday? I didn't go obviously.
I don't like Wonderland; too many naked people.

Though I'd imagine there aren't as many on Muslim Day.
I went to Bluffer's Park this weekend with some friends. We had a bbq on the beach; it was superfun. I hadn't been there before, 'cause I'm not from Scarborough. But I always wanted to see the bluffs. It's kind of odd that I hadn't, considering I've been going to school in Scarborough for the past three years. But yeah... I finally saw them! Beautiful. I liked the beach much better than Woodbine Beach/Ashbridges Bay. We joined some strangers in their game of volleyball... most multicultural game ever.
Also, I have to say... I love where I'm living now. It's so central and I can get downtown so fast, which is where all the fun things are. A lot of the Islamic conferences are at the MCC (of course a lot of Muslamic events are in Mississauga too, but I don't go to those). Only downside to living so close to downtown is... school and work for me are in Scarborough.

Long commute. But I think for my Master's or whatever, I'll go to St. George.
Did any of you Scarborough people go to Taste of Lawrence?
Also, what is everybody's favourite part of the city? I think for me, it has to be the Danforth, especially Greektown. I love the feel of it. But that's 'cause I grew up around there so it's like home. I also like Gerrard (Little India), of course. We used to buy groceries at BJ Supermarket every Sunday when I was a kid. Have had some good times there.
Old Chinatown... Dundas and Spadina. I end up there a lot of Friday nights. Haven't been to East Chinatown in a long time.
Markham's Chinatown will also always hold a special place in my heart (though I guess you can say all of Markham is Chinatown, heh). Along Steeles: Pacific Mall and the T & T.
And certain parts of Scarborough are growing on me. Maybe by the time I'm done at UTSC (next year), I'll love Scarborough?
