What's going on, Toronto Crew?
A quick look at my Facebook Events page tells me that there're a few things coming up.

Muzlamic things: Youth Tarbiya Conference (I'm attending, InshaAllah), the RIS retreat thing at Camp Kinark (can't afford it), MuslimFest (going InshaAllah), Journey of Faith at the MCC (1st annual; there're more and more Islamic events/conferences each year) for which I'm volunteering, I think.

Then there's Taste of the Danforth, Pride ( ), Scarbana, some dance cruise ( dunno who invites me to these things) and some skydiving trip (can't afford it). Lyke OMG!

So yeah, I hope to see you all at a few of these!

EDIT: K, a lot of these are in August. Pfft.

EDIT2: A couple of renowned Muslim bloggers are also coming to the Tdot very soon, so yeah... I know I'll see some of you thereeee.

Thanks for the update! I missed out on Muslimfest last year so inshaAllah this year I can make it. The two years before that I volunteered, but unfortunately this summer I just don't have the time. There's also an Al-Maghrib event in August that I hope to be attending as well.

I thought we talked about this already.
I was under the impression that there would only be high school boys there.

So I didn't really see the point of commuting all the way to 'Sauga.
Maybe next year when you have it at a more central location...

anyone just see that Pakistani dude from Montreal on Canadian Idol? lol it was pretty funny he was wearing a green shalwar kameez and one of those taliban hats....he sang Avril Lavigne Complicated! He said he also likes to sing Hillary Duff.. the judges asked him when he came from Canada he was like "2k5" lol... pretty funny dance moves, to go along with the song.

And MIST started in the States so that's why they call it Nationals. This is the first year with the Canucks

Well, that was your mistake the first time around (note that Spice and I even cancelled our picnic plan for you and that I did mean to come; it's just that stuff came up).
