i think it mostly depends on what program you're trying to get into. i dunno if this is any good but ppl always talk about these rankings:

but check out the universities specific websites and specific program sites. that'll help. or you could jsut tell us what you're gonna study, and ppl here can help. in this crew there are ppl that are in or went to all of the southern ontario universities.

as well some schools are known for specific reasons, like waterloo is mostly engineering, rye is mostly nursing, journalism, engineering, etc..mcmaster is known for its health sciences and medicine, york has business, law, education, and other humanities, the big ones like UT do everything.

yea try mcmaster, UT, or waterloo (if its optometry you're after). good luck. i think it depends on where you wanna live. in toronto or a small city.

Going to RIS should be a no-brainer for just about ANYONE in the GTA ... and certainly is a good choice for anyone living in Northeastern USA or southeastern Canada.
