True. I found myself in this amazing restaurant, which did excellent sea-food, but unfortunately, i could only order the seaweed and prawns, as the rest was distinctly haram. then I went to Pizza Hut and temporarily adopted an old man eating salad. He was so sweet. I wanted to take him home, put his dentures in a glass, read him a book, make him porridge and listen to his war stories, but then he refused to add me to his will...

Re: It's a LONDON ting...
It's all about North London.
Though I can't stand the way we talk. It's a hard habit to break. Teach your children Standard English and smack at the slightest utterance of ghe'o speak. Agreed?
Oh and Jamroll, it's 'fing', not ting. It's a LONDON fing...
'Ting' sounds so fobby. We just won't consider East Londoners as Londoners at all, okay?

everyone's just buzzy, buzzy, buzzy - excluding the fobby tourists who are in Trafalgar square taking Bollywood-style pictures. say salam or namaste to them.

Re: It's a LONDON ting...
Hehe, when i was in london two weeks ago there were tourists who were trying to stay out of the rain by wearing those huge plastic poncho kind of things (you get them when you go on the log flume in Alton Towers too). He was trying to get it on but it was too windy and he was getting lost in it. At one point there were three people trying to get it on him
it was sweet.
