Especially because foreigners are stupid and get in your way or take up the whole tube with their rucksacks when you're just trying to get home from a long day at work.

I felt the same way but there are some shops that do some really nice things but you have to know exactly which ones. The rest of them make me wonder who comes up with the clothes designs. And whether they made them in the dark

But I love Bees. I only go to Green Street for Bees and their bangles. Oh, and Mobeens' veggie samosay.

Um, Boston and Chicago are about 1,000 miles apart...

The UK and US are pretty different, both have their good and bad points. But you know what I miss the most? Maltesers... LOL

US is better IMO. I prefer it here than in the UK.

some questions for UKers:

- which are the good better quality content newspapers in the UK? Something like the NY Times is here? Interesting articles on all sorts of local and global issues. (is the NY Times available in libraries there by any chance?)

- are there any organic grocery stores, such as Whole Foods Market or Trader Joe's are in the US? Google says Whole Foods is in London. Our Stores | WholeFoodsMarket.com
Is it just as magical there? Is their parmesan just as yummy?

- why isn't there a Sephora in the UK? At least there's H&M though.

The Guardian or Financial Times. The New York Times is available in some libraries and most larger newsagents.

Yes plenty. Some of my friends are like the arty left wing type so they can direct you to cheap organic produce and outdoor markets if you're interested.

The best newspapers are the Guardian and the Independent, everything else is just tabloid trash. Also Manchester is way better than London, one of the best football teams in the country is just 35 miles away in Liverpool.
