lol, at your friend.

But is that for real? I did not know that. Does that mean the world will turn upside down, and everything will move backwards?

No it was one of those spam e-mails that go around. That's not the only little blurb there, it's the only thing he had any response to. There was other stuff in there like the whole Mayan calendar thing, the enormous volcano in the mid-west US, other stuff. All of them are "true" but blown out of proportion by the e-mail.

It was basically saying that scientists and religious groups are all talking about how we'll all die in 2012.

Me and my bestest friend were reading the Outsiders in in 8th grade (we still make references to that book) and the teacher had the audio narrative on, but I was reading ahead like a nerd face and I was confused about the word sonofagun so I whispered...

Me: Pony girl, what the heck is a sonfigin?
Sara: A who? That sounds like something complex the socs used, wait let me read that part.
Me: *continuing to reread the word thinking sonafigin, sonofogoon...* It might be another language or something
Recording: "son-of-a-gun"
Sara: YOU GREASER! Hahahah! Hooked on phonics....sound it out....hahaha

I still get made fun of.

My crazy neighbor who sits on the porch all day wearing crazy wigs who knows I'm Muslim:

Neighbor: Sweetie, did you become a nun?
Me: No, it's called a hijab it---
Neighbor: But your Catholic, right?
Me: Umm, nooo I'm Muslim.
Neighbor: But you believe in God, right?
Me: Of course I do, and His Prophets.
Neighbor: Good! Because you know what they say about nuns...
Me: What's that?
Neighbor: Once a nun, don't get none.
Me: Okay...well....it was nice talking to you. Bye!
