Ok, after more thought I realize I missed some very obvious words.

Garh: literally means to sharpen/mold something.
Pata: is used for cards in Punjabi too.
chawaije: Does this word have anything to do with the Urdu term Jachna? which means suitable?
Also I thought 'vin' meant 'go', then what does 'dhai' mean?
And does 'ramnu' mean 'play'?

Also sally: I think he meant rassero as in kitchen ( ), or is that some sort of dance too?

In my attempt to find more posts to translate, I read through the entire thread. And I bet I could win a memon trivia now.

Bluestar's Cutchi is really weird.. what she was saying was "who knows how his brain works"

Kha = eat

When she says kathe she means "how/which way" .. I'd say that "kerthe" or "keri risthe"

The spelling isn't beyond off. You could spell it 'chowaije,' but not "chew-why-jay." That's not how it's pronounced.

My memons not weird, my whole immediate and extended family would say it like that. I've heard people from different families speak differently so i'm guessing memon differs not only from regional origins.

I like reading everyones memon in this thread though, sort of gives me a universal memon understanding
