This topic is actually a current event / media topic even though it is a lil bit old. The reason im posting this here is because i think as a Society, something needs to be done. Its a letter from a sister (sister Fatimah) and the other sisters of Abu Ghuraib in 2004. It is a little bit old but for those that never heard or have seen it, watch it. I found this on another forum. Listen / Read to her Letter. Watch this, but try not to cry. Its nothing scary and nothing funny. It wil take mayb 5 minutes of your precious time. These were our sisters, who were tortured and raped while the world, especially us muslims, turned around and did nothing, and continued to ignore and bicker about little things. While they struggled/continue to, we sit here and celebrate non-essential things. Subhanallah.

This is just a awareness thread, so no need to turn it into a hate or debate thread.
