Well it all depends on where your going in iran.

You probabaly won't be able to sketch all over Iran unless you got loadsaa time and patience.

Hmm I'm kinda rushed so I'll just state some do's and dont's. Don't worry about your skin tone, if you're really paranoid, just say you're Middle Eastern or whatever. Make sure you trave with a mehran - for your own well-being. As for hijab, they're pretty intense on that in some places. If you're not wearing it properly then they sometimes do arrest you :/

Oh and Iranian men are incredibly pervy. I know some of you lot are gonna be "oh you're generalising!", but it is true! lol..obviously not all but loads are.
If they see a 'foreign chick' they'll probably try to be like perfect gentlemen and sweet talk you and eventually get you to marry em to get a green card. DO NOT BE FOOLED! :P
and if you hear "dooset daram" then just pepper-spray them in the eyes

wow, where the hell in iran are you from? you make it sound so bad, and for people reading this "dooset daram" means i love you or i like u alot, being that iranians have filthy swear world, i mean they really describe how they are insulting or perving over you, dooset daram, prob aint a pepper spraying offence, but she is right if ur with a man, unless ur in a bad neighbourhood, which u will know if u r in 1 (avoid south tehran) men wont bother you.

Tips

• A variation of Farsi called Dari which is also spoken by Afghans, but there are major differences between the two.

The reason I asked is because I wanted to know if you were asking because you wanted to shop in preparation for your trip. I was going to tell you that you can find a lot of tops/outfits in most stores in the States that would satisfy as an Iranian manteau. This would save you some money and give you more variety.
