 Shunter lake  Nanga Parbat("naked mountain" coz its soo steep near its top that snow doenst hold on leaving the top exposed)....also known as "the killer mountain". Hermann Buhl is buried here. Quote:

When I went to Pakistan (um, 6 years ago now), we went to Murree to visit my brother. He was in a boarding school there. It's beautiful. And that's the furthest north I've been in Pakistan.
Roads are scary though. They're all twisty and windy up the mountains... and then when you get high enough, you feel like you're in the clouds. One day, I'm gonna drive down the Karakoram Highway and check out all these places.

i love the muzafrabad and gilgit and the kalam areas i havent been back in a while i know the earthquakes destroyed most of muzafrabad

Pakistans side of Kashmir is pretty gorgeous too. We went there last year.

I've never been there nor do I know the names of the places, but I've seen pictures of northern India, Pakistan, and Kashmir - and they're so beautiful and heavenly!
