Thoughts?

It seems ideal and everything, but they're definitely an exception. Working women in western societies have very different support systems at their disposal. Even in non western societies it's most def a rarity if we compare working vs non working women.

This is just based on seeing my cousins/aunts, but I think it's easier to be a working woman "back home". There is more help with the house and kids, lots of family support and it seems like there are more part-time options for professionals.

Yeah, definitely. One of my married female cousins back home is a marketing CEO, runs some kind of weekly support group, musician, and has her own TV show among other stuff. She has a toddler son and is able to spend all her free time with him and her husband because she doesn't have to worry about the cleaning/cooking/babysitting as much...

yeah. that is totally ideal. i lived in dubai. totally not how my mom ran her life. that is totally an exception. my dad was always out of town for job. my grandmother visited often to help take care of us, but she could only come a certain amount of times all the way from pakistan.my mom worked and took care of us single handedly.

yeah. i said totally too many times. but i totally meant it.

being a working woman here while being married/having kids is seriously superhero stuff.
