Dude, everything you use today is a byproduct of Capitalism. Even the AK-47s and American weapons the Taliban use are a byproduct of Capitalism. Labour and Capitalism are not mutually exclusive. Labour However can and does exist without Capitalism. Think about how the Computer made it into the vast majority of houses in the USA, it wasn't by people making them. People could have made several Billion computers , but without the beast of Capitalism they would be sat in a warehouse somewhere near Bill Gates's house. Same with the Transport industry. Everyone who works to earn a wage is playing into the hands of the Capitalists. Like I have said millions of times, Capitalism is not the evil beast here, people are.

The system of capital is a direct byproduct of these people you deem evil.
Goods and services are products of Labor, Capitalism exists only so that these "evil" people can take advantage of Labor. Labor is what produces, Capitalism Is what was created to Exploit. Earning a wage isn't playing into their hands. Your wage is your right. Its when these people in control take that right from you, when they try to make 'extra' profits by cutting your check. This is capitalism at work.

Brother IbnMardhiyyah why are you being so arrogant and insulting toward people in this thread? I wish we could tell other people every necessary bit of information and opinion with utmost courtesy.

Tell me please how I would be a hypocrite.
How am I doing one thing and saying another? I advocate, workers owning the means of production, and I buy things I need to survive in a industrial world, Tell me how my getting by makes me a hypocrite? Please tell me, because as I see it, the only hypocritical thing I can do, is try to own people. Capitalism is akin to slavery after all...

I have explained a few times in this thread how Capitalism spwaned these products, not Labour. I agree that Capitalism in its modern form (Greed is Good) is evil, However the whole notion of capitalising on an idea to turn a profit is not. I don't beleive Socialism can work, unfortunately.

I wish Makkah was still under the Ottomans, they would atleast have some respect for the place. This is such an ugly building which totally goes against the sprituality of the place.
Wasn't there a hadith or something that prophet (pbuh) said that at the end of times there will be tall buildings? or something like that. If that is true saudis definatly want the day of judgment near by building this so near to the house of Allah. ![]() I am waiting for the day when they finally decide to destroy the kaaba, surely then muslims around the world would rise against them. |
