WATCH COMMUNITY TOWNHALL ONLINE TOMORROW
(Los Angeles - 11/12/09) -- The Muslim Public Affairs Council announced today that it will hold a Community Townhall on the aftermath of the Fort Hood Attack on Sunday, November 22 at 10:30 a.m. PST at the Islamic Center of Southern California.
The Community Townhall will also be streamed live online, where viewers will be allowed to interact with the speakers, and ask questions.
Speakers include MPAC Senior Advisor Dr. Maher Hathout and MPAC Executive Director Salam Al-Marayati.
Topics that will be covered include:
* Misused Quranic verses
* How to counter extreme interpretations of the Quran
* How to combat Islamophobia
