Reviving the Islamic Spirit 6th Convention

RIS has announced that the convention will take place on Dec 28-30th. But they haven't announced when the knowledge retreat is taking place. Does anyone know? I'm planning out my winter break and need to know if the knowledge retreat is after or before the convention (I'm asking because the convention is 1 week later than when it was last year)

Yea bro, like how we roll into RIS every year. I think the Knowledge Retreat will most likely be after the convention, because that gives the attendees a chance to ask the shyoukh questions about their talks that were made during the regular conference

Ever been to the Texas Dawah Convention? Mash'Allah it's like the most halal thing out there! It'll be from Dec 21-24 this year.

InshaAllah..if there are no family emergencies(like last year) then instead of going to States duringwnter breaks, i'll come to GTA. and I plan on volunteering as an indoor row officier..(whatever my experienced friend referred the title to be as)...

I signed up as a volunteer..i hope there won't be too many volunteer meetings..my friend told me about several volunteering positions i can do.but i really prefer the VIP aisle maintene..its the hottest position i can find. ps i heard i'll be chiling with all the shuyuks.inshaAllah InshaAllah

The Knowledge Retreat will be on (Drum roll) December 23rd - December 27th Insha-Allah.

This year's Retreat begins at 10am on the 23rd, with the last session concluding at 5pm on the 27th. which is different from last year's which finished at Isha every night (I missed my first chance to see snow last year because of that)
