Vista is decent, everyone said XP sucked when it came out too.

Visual Studio 2008 would be worth it alone.

Server 08 would be great for playing around for the MCSE exam that I'm too lazy to get ready for.

I wish I had known earlier, I'd so have been there but the DC one is long gone.
