They had a thing on NPR yesterday while I was driving home. Apparently UBS released a big report that Reuters is calling "How Not to Run a Bank" or some such. Greed can make people do really stupid things.

I still cant get over the fact that BearStearns alone was counterparty to $10 trillion worth of such trades. Thats more than 1/6th of the entire world's GDP.
My brain just freezes up, like a freaking 386DX spitting out a syntax error message. I can't even process that fact yet.
