For my own stuff, I use Schwab - if you keep a certain amount (I forget what it is, but it's pretty minimal) in it, then there aren't fees. I have a socially responsible fund (pretty much the index minus alcohol and tobacco stocks) and a couple of others in different sectors to diversify. I need to rebalance soon though, so I'll probably do that this weekend.
