True, however, cycling is not practical during winter. Unless you're very keen on getting a cold

Actually cycling is more practical in the winter. Cold is not that much of an issue...

Its easy to preach about bicycling considering you live in a city where driving is not required (SF).

Where do you live?

Unless I dress really warm, I can't cycle in the winter. But the chances of sweating increase when you have layers of cotton and wool. So it ends bad, for me at least. It is, however, admirable that you cycle even during winter, with slippery roads and minus x degrees celsius. I'm just not that courageous

It's a bit warmer when it's snowing. Plus there are tires called 'snow tires'. I heard its fun riding along and seeing cars sliding all over the place cause they forgot their tire chains

i think it's around 3.20 - 3.30 here. i don't pay too much attention to the price per gallon, cuz you gotta fill up either way, why torture yourself doing it? the fact that it takes me 50 bones for a tank and i gotta fill up every week is enough for me.

Damn! Are you serious? Near my house its between $2.80 and $2.90.

I'm surprised there's such a price difference given that we're only like 30 minutes apart.
