I just hit the pump once this year. A $47 fill. I'd be bankrupt if it weren't for my bike alhamdulillah

Public transportion in most cities in the US is really unreliable and the quality is not good. I remember going to a city hall meeting and this one guy was saying that he had to wait 2 hours for a bus because everytime it came the bus was full. They are often unrealiable and shabby.

Ya, it's no picnic. The US and like, everyone in the world, took two different approaches to transportation. GMC, in the 20s when only 10% of people had cars, basically monopolized public transport (which was really good at the time), made it shoddy so people can buy cars instead and then lobbied the government to make ridiculous highways and it was a huge feat because they got tire companies, steel companies, etc involved. It's sick.

Couldn't agree more. Public transit is something I am very strongly in favour of. If I had more time and money, I would actively lobby for it.

I just paid $4.67 for 89 octane....I usually fill up every week instead of when the tank empties, I drive about 100 miles a week now so it usually costs me 15-20 bucks a fill up instead of 78 dollars
