IN the uk we have to pay over 3k annual fee. It's gone up from 1K. So by the time one completes degree they will be drowning in at least 9k

dude, the dentist told me i would have to pay 3,000 plus dollars for dental work CAUSE APPARENTLY EVEN MY TEEFS IS BROKE!!!!

i got a rinky dink children's acting job for the next couple months, which is gonna pay, all told, about 3 k (knock on cyberwood).

OR, i could tell me teef to buck up, try to cut back on sweets (not gonna happen) and fly my broke#@% to pakistan next holiday time and get it all done for 20 bucks....

hm. y'know, having family that comes from a broke country has it's upside!

anyway, got the first root canal (of three) done hurr, and that cost me 3 hunrid 'n ten dollas.

put dat on my recently reactivated discover card (which is starting to build up quite a tab, so i gotta get on those payments, what with all the recent brokeness and what not.)

meanwhile, i got a mean minimum payment built up on my citibank card that needs to be addressed. apparently it was the card of choice for some family spending a while back. and that's is a reckoning that must be reckoned. i gotsta help my moms out. for real.

anybody got a dollar?

Unless you're a degenerate gambler with shady credit sources, having astronomical debt is often more indicative of large income or the promise of future large income (medical school loans, for instance) than it is indicative of poverty.

For instance, someone who is $500k in debt because they're making payments on a $1 mil house is pretty far from 'broke.'
