Re: Hair Cuts/Styles
I had my hair curly today. While I was cooking my oldest brother entered the house:
Brother: Your hair really is awesome.
Me: Yeah, I know it is.
Brother: Shut up. You're suppose to say 'thank you' not 'yeah I know it is'.
Me: Boy please. My hair IS awesome.
I'm thinking of coloring it. Everyone likes the brownish-blonde I had in but it's now growing out and I'm dying when I look at the roots. Like at this time it works with my cut but as my hair grows it's going to look torn up. The thing is I really am trying to back up off the chemicals and I DON'T want to do henna...so what, if any, are the options left?

Oh word? I have one right down the road from me, I'll call them up tomorrow.
...it's probably henna based though, eh.

Re: Hair Cuts/Styles
from my understanding its shampoo that makes peoples hair greasy. it strips it of all its natural greases and then the hair secretes more oil and stuff
i know people who have quit using shampoo all togeher and just use conditioner and theyre hair is awesome now.

Re: Hair Cuts/Styles
So today I FINALLY did the switch- I went all natural with my shampoo & conditioner. I used Avalon shampoo & conditioner. Love it. I thought my hair was great before, but I just HATED using that store crap, but now it's just lovely. So soft and so smooth and so silky and so shiny and so totally loveable.
I am looking into what's Wen about too.

ooh, i like avalon. i used to have a lavender clay mask by them that was soooo nice to use. actually, i still have it. it's been expired for years, but i can't bear to throw it away, and i can't seem to find it in stores anymore
....okay, that had nothing to do with hair
