I was in your situation just a few days ago. I got my hair cut and I was debating for the longest time whether to chop it or keep it long. MashAllah my hair was really long, so it was hard for me to part with it if I wanted to cut it a lot. I ended up going with a cut thats between the first two pics you posted. It was pretty much the same cut I had before. I wanted my hair either really short, around the shoulders, or keep it long. I don't like the middle length. It hasn't even been a week since I cut it and I'm already sick of it. I'm guessing its because I got the same cut and it wasn't much difference. I wish I had cut it in a cute short style. If I were you, I'd go for something new and fun Make sure you research your style and pick a style you really like. I don't know the texture and such or your hair, but make sure the cut you pick will suit your hair type.

I got me a medium lengt haircut, from having it long (chopped 4 inches) but I'm bored already and I wanna cut 3 more! I am bit worried but if I dont do it I'll just keep having that niggling feeling .

judging by the pictures in this thread, seems more of letting go of your skin color than traditional ways.
