it's some random Dominican place.
i would go there again but I don't speak spanish and it was difficult to communicate last time..not that i lost out on quality because of communnication issues, obviously. it looked amazing..but i don't want to chance it again

i think you should ask your friends or family which salon they recommend, because i wouldnt walk into a random salon and let them cut my hair.....i would be too afraid. i have had bad haircuts before so i dont want to make the same mistake.

so i want to dye my hair? at the moment its pretty much jet black, althought it does tend to go lighter in the summer.
anyways i have never dyed my hair before...so which colour do u think i should go for?

Try a shade of brown that works with your complexion

Unless you wanna go all out and try red, purple, orange.....you get the idea

I have jetblack hair and it also tends to get lighter in the summer (i've never dyed mine either)
I've always liked Revlon's Medium Golden Brown.. if you wanted an idea

I'm in a [hair] dilemma and help would be appreciated.

I've always liked/wanted long hair because I know it suits me, and I actually sort of reached the goal, however now that it's summer, and my hair has also become weak I need a cut.

Usually I just get it trimmed and get my bangs cut how they usually are and that's it. But now I'm tempted to try out a new cut or do something different. Besides it's summer, and it gets pretty hot down here so long hair can sometimes be a hassle.

On one hand I don't want to do anything drastic, because its taken me ages to get them how I've wanted them to be. But on the other hand, I'm tempted to try something new, [i.e- short] but I'm not sure if it'll suit me.

If any of the Sisters want to offer advice, I'm willing to send pictures of my current hair, but drop me your e-mail addresses, I don't want to PM them on Islamica.
