Shaz, isn't your hair afro? All the pics seems to be straight hair styles. Straightening it seems like so much hassle, especially if your natural style is curly. Why don't you get something with curls so it's easier to manage.

No my hair isn't nappy or afro, heba was just being stupid. [Though it would be TOTALLY cool if it was because then I would TOTALLY rock an afro I would have an afro like this with some highlights in it ]

But it's certainly not straight, which is why I liked the loose waves of the Jessica Simpson picture of my first post. If I wanted to straighten it, very rare that I do, it would look similar to the one Caramel posted.

yea, i used to be a long hair guy...
it was only for a short time, in my really stupid years.
i had to use a pony when i played basketball...


now i just buzzcut myself every few weeks.

I don't really know much about women's hairstyles so forgive me, if I'm choosing stuff which is out of fashion or whatever, but I think you should go with something you can easily manage. If you want it short, go for short loose curls.

Jam, nappy is often referred to the hair texture of black people. The thickness and 'kinky' feel of it. It can also mean knotty hair.
