Oh well .
It's done. Not much to see anyway. Not much you can do with thin hair, esp if I refuse to make it thinner or a 'short style'.
Took 4 inches off, she prob put in 1 or 2 layers, and a side fringe. But its not really a fringe, just chopped a section of the hair on the longer side of the parting .
I considered feathered or more layers but it would just end up thinner so I didn't go for that.
How can I make them understand 'side bangs'...Like I'm imagining, if you get bangs, they're going to be defined...but I want them to be long sideswept ones that I can brush away if I want.
It's cute though. But plain as anything, I look so average now compared to my long long hair. And like every other desi girl in the UK.
But iA it will grow long and thicker now too (iA iA iA), I'll get it done again then.
Long length with lots of layers and the type of side bangs I want...if they exist .

Which do you think is better? CHI vs. SOLIA flat irons
I've always heard great stuff about Chi and saw the results, but never tried it.
I actually used Solia this past weekend for a wedding and was amazed at the results.
I've a Conair, but it takes a long time. So I'm thinking of investing in an expensive brand.
Any reviews given would be appreciated

This is exactly why I've kept it long since forever. And I got it done a little shorter this time, and I can say Im never getting it like this again, it kind of clashes with the desi look.

Re: Hair Cuts/Styles
I really like my bangs , so to keep them from growing out I cut 'em myself. I cut 'em myself for the second time, yesterday . I've gotten really good at it too. The trick is holding the scissors vertically as opposed to horizontally and cutting straight, that way it comes out nice and choppy-ish . And I use a razor on the hair that falls around my face to frame my face .
lol same here asvi, I go short for summer and then long for winter .

Yeah, I've gone a lot shorter before but without the bangs, I think the bangs really clash with the desi look. I've yet to see it pulled off by a traditional desi chic. Hmm, I dont know. But after this I'm going back to my sig hair --> long with layers, no bangs.
