Is shoulder length considered short?

Bangs are awesome and looks good on almost everyone. I hate having hair in my face though so it'd be a nuisance for me.

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies I think you guys convinced me of the side swept bangs. I think this is what I want (similar to a lot of the pics you guys posted), I like that it she has 2-3 layers (other than her bangs) and I think it would look better as opposed to getting any more layers, because my hair has a lot of volume and the last time I had short layered hair my mother kept calling my head a birds nest

But I'm keeping most of my length, I cant give it up
