So my nana agreed to make my dress for me- I am so glad she did.  It's so much more special to me knowing that it was made for me by my grandmother. 
I had to crop the pictures so that's why it's mad up close.  I threw on some random slip for the photo but I definitely need to get a better one for the wedding. 
I still don't know what type of Hijab I want and what style I want it in. 
EDIT: Oh and for those who noticed, yes the bow is being tacked more on the day of.

my mehndi..i am kind of ocd about everything. so i experimented with different mehndis, until i found the best color. hennacaravan.com and get oils mixed in. also, i wrapped my hands in medical tape so the mehndi wouldnt fall off. annnd before i did the medical tape, i used a HOT hairdryer on it, because heat opens your pores, which allowes for the color to sink in. color gets deeper if you put heat over it. but dnt do the heat after you do the medical tape, otherwise the mehndi will melt and make a big mes this mehndi didnt come off for a month afterwards.
i <3 mehndi. i do it every thursday night--for jummah! since jummah is eid too!!
