Re: The Official Make-Up Thread
I need a good concealer. Something that covers blemished. Any recommendations?!
Oh and tinted moisturizers anyone?!

Re: The Official Make-Up Thread
i strongly advise people who wear contact lenses to brush some of this mascara on, even on top of other mascaras you might wanna use cuz it's esp made for those who wear acuvue contact lenses and plus it's clear so you can apply it on top of an existing layer
just so that if a bit of mascara does go into your eye, it's likely going to be the most recent layer and it's good if you wear mascara often with contact lenses

Re: The Official Make-Up Thread
As I bring the mascara brush through my lashes, I lightly shake it back and forth. I like putting a second coat on only my end lashes, to give it an extra fullness and darkness. If any clumping happens, which doesn't anymore since I've started to shake while applying, I would brush it out with a lash comb.
I bought three HIP shadow duos today at work. I was going to buy this really nice colored lip gloss but it was 11.99 and I have an apartment I have to save up for. Maybe next time.
I got Mischief, Forgiving, and Reckless.
Maybe next paycheck, I can get the creme stick or the shocking shadow one.

Re: The Official Make-Up Thread
I got a HIP blush pod type thing but HIP in general seems a bit too bright for me... Ulta's stuff has grown on me a bit. I think for eye makeup i really have to be in the mood to put it on for daily basis.I think this could be because it's more tedious. seriously... shadow+liner+mascara=too much effort. heh but i love lip related products.

Is the primer you mentioned just for the eyes? I have this primer and I HATE it. I've used it a few times and don't like it at all. I'm going to try it a few more times, maybe I'm just not applying it right.

I use loreal telescopic clean definition and I LOVE it. Comes out clean and no clumps.

For drugstore: Try Cover Girl Lash exact. Really nice. When you first apply make sure you remove some of the excess. Than apply. I've repeated this step up to 5 times and no clumps. For me it works like the loreal telescopic but it's cheaper. But that might just be me.
Sephora/Higher end brands: Bad Gal Lashes by Benefit work pretty good. The wand is big and realy coates the lashes. CON. It kinda gives you a smudgy top liner. Clinique high-defenition is double sided. One side coates and I guess volumizes the other seperates and lengthans. Bare Minerals makes pretty decent one too. Make the lashes look nice and full.
I've used all of these. Something I've noticed is after you've applied your moisterrizer it leaves your lashes kinda wet. I my experience this gives you a greater chance of clumping.(any one else notice this?!!?) So make sure your lashes are kinda "dry". When your doing you top lashes tilt your head up til you can either see all the way up your nose or until you can get to the very root of the lashes. I like to start in the middle than out. I don't usually do the bottom lashes, but when I do, instead of holding the wand vertically I keep it horizontal and tilt my head down. It's kinda tricky, but works.
Sorry for the long post. hopefully what I said made some kind of sense.
