I love Harajuku fashion if it is done in the right way.. I rmbr when they did it in America's Next Top Model in Seasons 3.. One of my fave episodes ever!!

But yeah, nearly all of these pix suck.. I'm more into the colourful ones, not the goth/black stuff.. Each to their own, eh!

I've always thought they looked like monkeys from even the earliest days. At one time disturbingly cute monkeys, but yeh. I don't think they can help that pouting thing.

no, i'm pretty sure it's intentional. they could just smile normally, show some teeth or keep a passive expression, instead of narrowing down their nostrils and pouting. if you have looked at victoria beckham's pictures, you'll notice she does the same thing.

I'm not sure my stance on them being role models, but I do LOVE their clothing line they have for the little girls. It's up at Wal-Mart, it's inexpensive and modestly really cute. I usually am the biggest critic of young girls clothing, but their line I love love love. Even their perfume smells so adorable!

Re: role models - Maybe that came out wrong I didn't mean they are godo role models, I meant they are better than Lindsay Lohan and co - i.e. apart from their excess thin-ness I don't really rmbr them being too nakedy, drunk, rude in public etc

I like that last one the best.. It's funny you mentioned you don't like young girls clothing coz when I used to work at the kids clothes dept. in London the American parents/aunts/uncles/grand-parents would go ker-azyyyyyyyy over the girls clothes we had in our shop.. and I mean crazy!! The Americans were sooo cute; their reactions were so endearing LOL.. They would tell me how much they hated clothes in the US for kids (esp girls) as it was tooa dult and later on when I saw the clothes they were talkin about I could see why they were maxin out all their AMEX limit on the kiddy clothes..
