What's Wrong W/ A Zebra Print Hijab?
LOL... I just noticed the sub-heading for this forum. Am I the only sister in here who loves a good animal print? 
Speaking of, what do you sisters think about this zebra-accented abaya?
I think it's a bit strange.

Then, yeah... I think you're the only one. 
I like your blog, but sometimes some of the outfits you post don't work well together.
And about animal prints: sometimes. I like the pumps you just posted but not the abaya so much or the first hijab.

you know, i wish i lived in a time when clothes didn'y constitute a huge part of peoples lives. I always feel like an alien when people talk about clothes and shoes and itsy bitsy pieces of useless accessories.

A pair of shoes that has animal print is as far as I'd go. The zebra print hijab seems too overwhelming and gaudy for my taste. Definitely out my comfortable level . |

I can't say i'd wear it out of choice. Maybe if i was giving birth one day and that was the only thing lying around (no idea why something like that would be lying aound.) or maybe if a shop got set in fire and all the pretty hijaabs went up in flame and that was the only one i could grab before running out into the street. There again, in such a situation..woul it be araam for me simply to run?

im not a fan of animal prints in general.
some people can pull it off...usually as small accents to an otherwise very neutral outfit...but thats rare imo.

A zebra print hijab can look cute if you wear it correctly, but not everyone can pull it off. I'd leave it for the girls who know how to dress well. I have a silk zebra print blouse from Banana Republic and its gorgeous. I wore slacks and small heels with it to school and to an interview and many people loved the look.

Yep. Peep-toe pumps.
I think animal prints look tacky if you overdo them. Maybe just for accents.

I don't know why but I always assumed when our cousins across the pond were talking about "pumps" they were referring to flats, or what we call dolly shoes in London.. or if not the dolly-shoes, something like trainers?? Meh.
