Asslamau alaykum
I bought the black shoes, they butchered my feet the first day and I was left with the wounds for the next three days, but they're beautiful masha Allah. The silver ones I need to get soon insha Allah, they look prettier in real life, though.

Boys know nothing about shoes. My uncle said no one will notice my shoes anyways  . Pssh, I got many compliments on my NY and Co pair with the buckle and all  . But it's not about others, really, it's all done for me  . Sometimes I'm so mesmerized by my own shoes that I have no need to look up at all, especially when on the train.
P.S. shoes = art. Okay, now I'm just getting carried away  . |

lol, me too! I suggest shoes if anyone has lowering-the-gaze problems (which I don't alahdmulilah  i'm yet to see shrek in real life  )
I'm currently on the look out for flat shoes/semi flats, apart fom the khusys (sp?) that I have, but the unfolde cardboard piece lok keeps reappearing in the rain, so not entirely practical.

Yup, flats and rainy weather don't mix. I made the mistake of wearing flats the day after a downpour.The end result was soggy flats and wet feet. Yuck. I bust out my boots when it rains or snows.
By the way, I don't get the Shrek reference. You wouldn't lower your gaze if you saw Shrek?  |

al hamdulillaah i got a new pair of shoes tonight. i am soooo happy about it. my old shoes were making my feet hurt and i threw them away in the trash can outside the shop immediately.  |

There was this shop for sale and we checked it out and some of those pairs were reasonably priced.
I can't figure out why I didn't buy this awesome pair of slippers. It's probably over by now.
