Re: Acne!
I recommend you all acne sufferers try this, it works wonders man. Especially if you use it like it is directed, twice a day. Pure awesomeness. You can actually feel it working.

Qays bin Rafi al-Qatsi narrates that God's messenger (SAW) said, "Aloes and watercress are a sure cure for illness."
i've heard people say oatmeal mixed with honey works as well.

Re: Acne!
one word: doxycycline...
trust me it works wonders...unlike accutane it doesnt make u feel suicidal and it doesnt break u down into depression...sure u have to be careful with urself while taking it and follow ALL directions like it says you cannot lie down for 30 minutes after taking the medication, or that to avoid the sun after youve taken it for a few hours (this is why i would take it at night 2 hours before going to bed) or else youll get a badddd skinburn (had a freind who made that mistake... although i suppose you can if you put sunscreen on) and to not take any dairy products after you've taken the med...i did that and it really makes ur stomach get upset...thats the thing with this med, it makes your stomach realy sensitive...
but alhumdulilah, within a month it works total wonders, its a two month course, though. but you have to go to the doc and get it prescribed...but really i totally reccomend it.

Re: Acne!
I had to go to a dermatologist to figure out my acne. he gave me a couple of things to use. first, he told me not to use scrubs, but to use cetaphil... more gentle. then he gave me some pills and this real strong cream. they worked well.. but obviously its not over the counter stuff, except cetaphil.
my acne is almost cleared up, alhamdulillah. ive switched to using the clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment (works great), aveeno clear complexion correcting treatment, and for moisturizer i use aveeno clear complexion daily moisturizer. i love aveeno products.
to keep away acne, i read its good to drink lots of water, eat as healthy as possible, not too much caffeine intake, and exercise regularly.

Re: Acne!
You can't take antibiotics forever - seriously. All that Doxycycline and Minocycline stuff are only temporary solutions. When I was using Proactiv, my skin made a serious improvement. I stopped using it for about 6 months and now my skin is terrible. I just bought some Proactiv this afternoon and I'm hoping my skin will return to normal, iA.
Anyway, I hear SLEEP will do wonders for your skin. Make sure you're getting enough sleep.

ProActive and Retina-Micro are infamously interrelated with dependency. The reviews online and from friends pretty much say the same thing. Your acne isn't cured, its suppressed and as soon as you stop using the product your acne returns. But hey whatever works right?
I think the Vitamin E oil does a great job with scars. JazakAllah FPH

For preventing acne.. the biggest suggestion I have is to keep your hands off your face! Instead of resting your chin against your hand during a lecture, sit up straight. Its such a simple rule but the results are miraculous!

So is everything else . There is no cure for acne, if there was, there wouldn't be this thread. Antibiotics are only temporary. My dermatologist wrote me six prescriptions for Doxycycline. I only took it once. There was no way on earth I was going to take ANTIBIOTICS for another 5 months.
Vitamin E Oil doesn't work on everyone. It didn't do anything for me. And I suggest testing it out somewhere on your face like under your ear lobe because a few FPH'ers were complaining that it gave them tiny red bumps.

Re: Acne!
make du3a and keep ur skin super-clean..get the apriocot face wash thing.
freal the shif3a is in the dua3 not in the dawa...lol. im telling u from the experience ive used from visages 11232$ kit to $10 OTC..just keep it clean and wash it thoroughly if u keep ur pores open and clean, the acnes will not peak over ur skin...
ur best friend is good sunscreen to reduce scars or spots in summer n a face mask
-wear a strong spf sunscreen and use an amazing cleaner and weekly face mask which will help with the blackheads too..

yes. also being fat. none likes being fat. al hamdoulilah. i just finished my acne period like 2 years ago now ive to deal with excessively large pores. . subhAllah...
but all this reminds me of a friend in HS who married with face full of acne and alhamdulilah her skin got better n better 9i guess hers was a hormonal thing(sounds awful but do u know what i mean )
however, i think she got the positive results with conjunction of using a herbal medicine. her dad bought it from some ayervedic store in toronto area..
